These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tasklyst platform and services. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Tasklyst ("we", "our", "us"), whether as a customer or a professional ("Pro"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.
2. User Accounts
2.1 Account Creation
To access our platform, you must create an account and provide accurate, up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activities under your account.
2.2 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to register. By using Tasklyst, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Our Services
Tasklyst is an online platform that allows users to book and manage appointments, events, and services with verified professionals in various industries.
We provide:
- A calendar and task management system
- Booking and communication tools
- Subscription services for professionals (optional)
- Profile and listing management for Pros
We may update or enhance features from time to time at our sole discretion.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious activities
- Impersonate another person or business
- Interfere with the platform’s operation (e.g., hacking, sending spam)
- Collect or store personal information about other users without consent
- Circumvent payment systems or engage in off-platform transactions for services found through Tasklyst
Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account without notice.
5. Payments, Fees & Subscriptions
5.1 For Professionals
Pros may subscribe to Tasklyst Pro, which gives them access to additional tools and visibility. Subscription fees are displayed at the time of registration. First-month trials may be offered.
5.2 For Customers
Some services may require payment via the platform. Tasklyst uses third-party providers (e.g., Stripe) to process payments. Your payment data is securely handled.
5.3 Refunds & Disputes
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Tasklyst is not responsible for service delivery disputes between customers and Pros but may mediate where appropriate. For help, email us at hello@tasklyst.co.uk.
6. Cancellations & No-Show Protections
6.1 Customer Cancellations
Customers may cancel a booking in accordance with the professional’s cancellation policy. Some cancellations may be non-refundable if done with short notice (typically less than 24 hours).
6.2 Professional Cancellations
Pros must provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Repeated short-notice cancellations may result in account review.
6.3 No-Show Policy
- If a customer fails to attend a confirmed booking without prior notice, they may be charged a no-show fee (up to 100% of the booking fee).
- If a professional fails to show up, customers will be refunded in full and may be offered a credit or discount on future bookings.
7. Referral Program
7.1 How It Works
- Share your unique referral code with friends or colleagues
- When someone signs up and completes their first booking or subscribes to Tasklyst Pro using your code, you both receive a reward (e.g., account credit or discount)
7.2 Conditions
- Referral credits are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash
- Abuse or misuse of the referral system (e.g., self-referrals, fake accounts) will result in disqualification from the program
- Tasklyst reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral program at any time
8. Disclaimers & Warranties
Tasklyst is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee:
- That services will be uninterrupted or error-free
- That professionals listed are guaranteed to meet your specific expectations
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tasklyst shall not be liable for:
- Loss of profits or data
- Business interruption
- Indirect or consequential damages
10. Privacy
We collect and process user data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. Your data is only used to operate and improve Tasklyst and will not be sold to third parties.

11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. When changes are made, we’ll notify users via email or platform notifications. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
